Greg is the new Chairman of FMG's Board of Directors. Greg has extensive experience in the rural sector, along with being a dairy farmer, he has held several directorships and chairmanships within the dairy industry. He is currently a Director of the Fonterra Co-operative.

Ian McKelvie

Ian, who is currently Mayor of the Manawatu District, has a long involvement in agriculture. Along with managing the McKelvie Family farming operation, he is also a Past President of the Royal Agriculture Society. Ian is Director and part owner of Palmerston North based Dunchurch Enterprises which incorporates Manawatu Toyota, Fleet Management Ltd, Z-One Motoring and Dunchurch Manawatu – a property owning company.

Murray Donald

Murray has extensive rural and management experience. He currently farms a 455 hectare property in Southland, and is also a Director of Alliance Group and Chairman of Alliance Group Trustee Limited. A former National President of the Young Farmers’ Club, Murray also received a commemorative medal for services to agriculture in 1990.

Marise James

Marise James is an accountant and financial advisor based in Taranaki specialising in the dairy sector and in particular, business and tax planning. She and husband Bryn own a 75 hectare property in Central Taranaki and are former winners of Sharemilker of the Year. Marise, a recipient of the Nuffield Scholarship, is also a Director of Landcorp Farming Ltd and a former Fonterra Director.

Graeme Milne

Graeme has considerable experience in agribusiness, including his role as CEO of Bay Milk Products, New Zealand Dairy Group, Bonlac and more recently Richmond. Graeme also worked in Germany and the UK in senior roles for the New Zealand Dairy Board.

He is currently a Director of a number of companies involved in kiwifruit, dairy, meat processing and energy distribution sectors.

Tony Cleland

Tony Cleland is a Southland dairy farming entrepreneur and founder of FarmRight, an independent dairy farming management and consultancy company based in Lumsden. Tony became a director of FMG in August 2007.

Michael Ahie

Michael Ahie is a business owner and company director based in Wellington. Michael is the CEO and a founding partner of Shirlaws New Zealand Ltd. He has broad international business and governance experience with multinational companies including roles in sales, marketing, global strategy and business unit management. He held senior roles with Toyota New Zealand Ltd, the New Zealand Dairy Board and Wrightson Ltd.
