Calendar story update!
Moriah's Millionth Button
The January page of our 2010 Calendar features Barbara and Don McFarlane, who have been wonderful supporters of the Moriah School Holocaust Button Collection campaign.
On 5 February 2010 we received this campaign update from Moriah College Principal, Justine Hitchcock:
"We are pleased to announce we collected our millionth button at Makara cemetery on Holocaust Remembrance Day. It was a very fitting occasion to collect the millionth. We wish to thank everyone who has been involved in the project, without your generous support we would not have been able to reach this milestone. We still need another half a million to achieve our goal. Please continue to spread the word. If you haven't done so already, please check out our new website for the latest updates on the project, including a link to the One News feature."
