Michael Ahie joins FMG Board
Michael Ahie is FMG's newest director, appointed in November 2009. Michael is a director and founding partner of business and corporate coaching firm Shirlaws New Zealand Ltd. A highly-regarded business coach, Michael has broad international business and governance experience with multinational companies including roles in sales, marketing, global strategy and business unit management.
Michael has held senior roles with Toyota New Zealand Ltd, the New Zealand Dairy Board and Wrightson Ltd. He is also currently a director of Industrial Research Ltd (a New Zealand Crown Research Institute), Palmerston North-based Bio Commerce Centre and the Manawatu Investment Group (both of which nurture local agri-tech start-ups through their first tentative steps).
Originally from coastal Taranaki, Michael lives in Wellington with his wife and two sons.
