The Olive Grove
Nestled on the side of a hill in the Akaroa region, Chris and Annette Moore own and operate a successful luxury B&B from a beautifully renovated 1915 homestead. They also cultivate one of the world’s southernmost olive groves.
With a grove of over 900 trees, producing six different varieties, Chris and Annette pick, blend and produce their Robinsons Bay Extra Virgin Olive Oil which was judged to be New Zealand's best at the 2012 and 2013 Olives New Zealand Awards. Through selling their range of extra virgin and infused olive oils at local farmers markets, online and through local retailers, the Moores sell out of product every year.
