Case Study: FMG Connect a farm fencing staple
When a double red weather warning was issued for Rangitīkei on 15 February, Sheep and Beef farmers', Andrew and Kylie Stewart knew it was going to be serious. What followed was a storm that left widespread tree damage, blocked access, and three days without power. The farm is used to weather coming from the north-west, but this system struck from the south with extraordinary force, bringing down trees across the property and damaging fences.

FMG Manager named world Manager of the Year
Last month, FMG’s Kelly Stuart was named Gallup Manager of the Year at the Gallup at Work Summit in Omaha, Nebraska. Kelly, who is FMG’s Manager of Claims Capability was one of 10 worldwide finalists and to be recognised on the global stage was quite a feat for the Palmerston North local.

A near miss with a tiny intruder
Following a hair-raising encounter, Barry and Pauline George breathe a sigh of relief, grateful they didn't leave anything to fate when they discovered they had a narrow escape from a potential disaster. The Manawatu-Rangitikei farmers have a newly built house that Barry helped build so they knew just how solid it was and how little ceiling space it had. But earlier this year they heard some scratching noises in the ceiling which left them baffled.
