Get It Checked
Don's mole had been on his shoulder for years. About the size of a 50 cent piece, it had never caused him any trouble, just a "scab that never really healed properly." It stayed on the list of things to deal with eventually.

Melanoma Roadie: Summer wrap-up
As summer winds down, the FMG Spot Check Roadie has wrapped up another busy season helping rural New Zealanders stay on top of their skin health. Our most recent data shows that the Roadie visited more than 40 rural locations and completed over 1,500 free skin checks. Of those checked, 321 people were found with suspicious lesions, including 87 suspected melanomas. That’s around one in five people needing follow‑up, a strong reminder that melanoma risk doesn’t disappear when the temperatures drop.

FMA’s findings in relation to historical errors
FMG self-reported two historical issues associated with the Mutual’s previous approach to Specified Items and Indexation to the Financial Markets Authority (FMA). In doing so, FMG has and continues to cooperate fully with the FMA and takes full responsibility for the issues. FMG has now entered into an Enforceable Undertaking with the FMA, including agreeing to make a payment in lieu of a pecuniary penalty.
