Simon and Liko Inkersell farm Lake Ohau Station in the Mackenzie Basin. The high country station covers 20,000 acres, ranging from 550 to 2100 metres above sea level.
Sixty percent of the station is very steep terrain, and includes large mountain ranges. Simon and Liko run both merino sheep and angus cattle on the property. In Māori, Ohau translates to “place of wind”, a name that is well deserved.
