From spud to the spectacular high-country stations and everything in between there is nothing you can’t do in this Young Farmers region. We’ve also heard the hills and the plains make for some awesome horse riding.

“Will to Live is a great charity that supports rural mental health. This was the charity that organised the Speak up Tour which brought over 10,000 farmers across New Zealand together to speak up about their mental health and they have also organised counselling sessions with farmers in a fraction of the time that it takes to see a counsellor through the normal health system. This work needs further support to keep the mental health in our rural communities strong and Will to Live needs more support to be able to continue to offer their counselling services to farmers” Peter O’Connor, Aorangi representative.
The winning region contestants will win provincial glory and much more including:
- $5,000 for a good local cause chosen by them
- $1,000 to the senior contestant
- $1,000 to be split among the Junior contestants
- $1,000 to be split among the AgriKidsNZ.
Voters also go in the draw to win a $500 Prezzy card.
