  • No, FMG does not offer a no claims bonus
  • Individual drivers are not required to be listed under FMG’s Commercial Motor Vehicle policy. Under FMG’s standard commercial vehicle policy, drivers who would normally be eligible for cover are generally automatically insured when driving your vehicle. However, it is important to let us know if anyone driving the vehicle:

    - Has had any driving offences that resulted in the loss of licence within the last three years. For example, driving under the influence (DUI/DIC), dangerous driving, or accumulation of demerit points.

    - Any criminal convictions or pending prosecutions – excluding matters covered by the Clean Slate Act.

    - Has, within the last five years, had another insurer decline, cancel, not renew, or apply restricted terms to a policy, or decline a claim.

If this hasn’t been discussed and agreed with us, cover may not apply.

  • In a large event, you may need to lodge multiple claims across your different policies. In this case you will pay only one excess (whichever one is the highest). This rule does not apply to NHCover claims, where a separate excess will apply to each claim.

We will discuss the specifics of your claims and potential excesses with you, as every claim is different.
