Benefits (for Superior cover only)
Covers the legal liability of you and approved drivers for damage caused to others’ property or person.
We don’t apply an excess to repair or replace damaged windscreens and other vehicle glass.
If your vehicle keys, locks, or electronic remotes are lost or stolen, we’ll pay to replace them.
We cover the cost of breakdown or failure caused by accidentally using the wrong fuel.
FMG’s Superior Private Vehicles policy is our top level of cover for cars or other vehicles you use mainly for personal use, like travelling to and from work, day-to-day errands and on holiday, as well as trailers, horse floats, caravans and motorhomes.
This policy includes cover for damage to the vehicle itself, its accessories and spare parts, as well as your legal liability as the owner and driver of any specified vehicle shown on your certificate of insurance.
You’re also covered under this policy if someone else is driving your vehicle and causes damage, or injury to a person.
If you choose to add or replace a vehicle on this policy, that vehicle is automatically covered for up to 30 days after purchase while you update your details with us. Once you have notified us of the new or replacement vehicle, you will also need to pay any extra premium required.
Third Party Only, Third Party Fire and Theft and Fire and Theft covers are also available. FMG recommends Superior cover for all vehicles insured with us, to make sure clients have the cover they need if an unforeseen event happens.
You can purchase optional benefits for even more comprehensive cover
Cover if you need to hire a replacement vehicle while your specified vehicle is getting repaired or replaced following a loss. Up to $100 a day for 30 days from when we accept your claim.
